FORD'S stunning SuperVan 4.2 will be putting on even more displays during its Australian tour, with confirmation it is appearing at the Australian Grand Prix and the Adelaide Festival of Motorsport.
The 2000 horsepower full-electric show car makes its Australian debut this weekend at the Bathurst 12 Hour, before staying at Mount Panorama for a repeat performance at the following weekend's Supercar race.
While French GT racer Romain Dumas will be driving for the Mount Panorama legs of SuperVan's tour, Ford Australia says there will be a number of guest drivers at the remaining events.
“Ford is on an exciting electrification pathway, and SuperVan 4.2 is a great illustration of what electrified performance can mean,” said Andrew Birkic, President and CEO, Ford Australia.
“With more stops added to the SuperVan tour in Australia, EV and performance fans around the country will be given an opportunity to see this feat of engineering and the next-level performance it delivers.”
Prior to heading to Mount Panorama, the Dumas tested the SuperVan at Sydney Motorsport Park, allowing the Ford team to complete systems checks, and ensure the car is at its peak before this weekend's events.
